PERSONAL EXHIBITION ON THE NATIONAL ARTS CLUB OF NEW YORK IN NYC

Russian fashion designer Natalia Naftalieva's personal exhibition of artwork, avant-garde and fashion collections opened on April 19 in The National Arts Club of New York.

"The National Art Club was founded in 1898 by Charles

de Kaye as a focal point for artists, philanthropists and the public. The club brings together painters and directors, architects and sculptors, writers and musicians, photographers, actors and theater workers, and promotes young talents. At various times, the names of such prominent figures as Theodore Roosevelt, Paul Manship, Robert Redford, Martin Scorsese, Robert Henry, Uma Thurman and others appeared on the lists of club members.

"Natalia ignores the decorative meaning of couture and elevates it to the state of conceptual art. She goes beyond the creation of different combinations of garments, does not think in terms of seasonal and stylistic categories, but being a true artist sets a broader challenge" – sums up Russian honoured artist Victoria Larionova.
